The Tooth Fairy visits our home!

Both my son and I had a "coming of age" last week. He lost his first tooth, and I got to be the Tooth Fairy for the first time. It brought back many memories for me of my childhood, waiting up late to see if I could "catch" the tooth fairy in action. Sometimes my brother and I would even set traps for her. But, alas to no avail the Tooth Fairy always seemed to be aware of our schemes.

So, as I snuck into my boys room late at night, trying not to step on legos or trip on books, I fished around under the pillow for the lost treasure. I was thankful for the moment. My son was a dollar richer but the moment to me was priceless. As I got a glimpse of myself in the mirror in the dark, I think I almost saw wings!
