Personally, I prefer EAST.
We took a trip downtown, to finally see a "REAL" Picasso. It was so very cool. This was one of those moments when i thought... this makes all the really hard stuff of parenting sooooo worthwhile!
Zach loved seeing the REAL paintings, not just the ones in books. He was surprised at how BIG they were.
I was surprised at how NERVOUS he was inside the building. It was hard for me to even get this photo becasue he wouldnt let go of my hand. ALl the glass railings and open spaces made him frightened and he was nervous he would fall.
Both he and Ty enjoyed the Calder, the Lichtenstein, a sculpture by Modigliani that Zach thought was a Star Wars droid, and a great 3D piece by Frank Stella.
It was an awesome day.
Oh, and we did make it to the WEST wing too. Monet and Medieval armor was all we had time for, but the swords made quite an impression! get it, "impression"?? as in "impressionism? ha ha
