This is the reaction I've been getting the past few days. Its getting comical to me, which is why I chose this photo! Its the response I get after someone asks my kids how the first day of school was (today was MCPS 1st day). The conversation goes something like this:
them:"How was your first day of school?"
kids: "Great!"
Zach: "But it wasnt really our first day."
them: No? What do you mean?
kids: "We started early."
them:"Early? Hows that?"
kids: "We do HOMESCHOOL!"
them: *pause*.........oh, .........homeschool.........thats......................................great.
and then they look at me.
me: *smile*
This happened with the librarian, our neighbor as he came home from work, someone at church, and a few others over the weekend. WHat Im loving is how proud of it Zach is and how oblivious he seems to be to others disapproval. He's a good model for me to follow. Im very proud of him!
