Tyler got to be King For a Day Today...but he preferred to be called "The Boss". What rules did he make? 1. Blueberry pancakes for breakfast 2. play Wii as much as he wanted (well.. that rule didnt quite happen) 3. Eat candy 4. Chevy's for dinner 5. No school work 6. Open his presents right away 7. NOT make his bed. Other than that, he was pretty content with the way things were. We had a fun dinner, and he really enjoyed the wait staff coming to our table and singing "Happy Birthday" mexican style and gave him a big sombrero to wear. His first reaction was to hide under the table, but then he emerged with a big grin. I wish i had my camera for that!Here are some shots from his birthday party at a local indoor pool:
He was brave to go off the diving board for the first time!
Even Zach did it too! We invited about 15 friends to join us and all the kids really enjoyed this as they are now old enough to do it.
The kids had "noodle battles" and ate pizza.
The only downside? Cori getting sick in the pool. Yep, and all over mommy who was holding her in the pool. SHe swallowed a little water and so after pizza, cheeseballs, ice cream and cake she just couldnt hold it down. Poor thing, and poor lifeguards who had clean up! Needless to say the party ended about 15 minutes early for the detox. But, it was fun anyway!! Thanks to all Tylers friends who were able to join us. Happy birthday, Ty!
