This morning we were in Potomac, supporting the Autism Speaks 5k race. Will and some friends participated in the 5k, an then the boys an I ran the 1 mile "Family Walk" portion. It was a great time! Lightning Tigers is our team name. The boys ran most of the 1 mile, an I was very impressed at their perseverance! Zach ran ahead, and I tried to keep both boys in view while Tyler stopped to rest a few times. Last year, I did the triathlon (click to see the blog on that one) with Autism speaks, so maybe we will make this an annual tradition!
Our awesome amazing team, "The Lightning Tigers!" Included with us are the Merlo family, Greg, Molly Addie and Ben, along with our friend Denny. Together they raised about$2,800!
