Penguins and Mr. Popper

We are wrapping up our unit on Animals that we have been working on. I only wish there was a zoo near us that had penguins for us to see! But, this was a fun unit study we did to take a little break from our normal routine. All 3 kids enjoyed it, and learned quite a bit! (i hope!!)

Here are our posters we've been working on, adding animal cards to categorize each animal.

Then we had alot of fun with these "penguin charts" we made. I got the idea from a teacher in Wisconsin

The penguin cards here we printed from Sea World site! They classified all 17 species and were a great tool.

As our final activity we rented Mr Poppers Penguins! (but all agreed the book was WAAAY better ) :-)
