Upwards Basketball

This season we have decided to take a break from our favorite sport, karate, and try something new instead. Both boys wanted to try basketball, so they are signed up with Upwards. So far, its been a great experience. Ty is having fun on his team and learning great fundamentals of the game. Zach is growing in his perseverance and self control when frustrated.  I like that sportsmanship is rewarded, and they are enjoying earning their stars each week. The white star is the most coveted: given for "Christ-likeness". Both boys have demonstrated that this year, showing patience, encouraging their team, and being selfless to help teammates. Good job, guys!
