If Gustav hit my town...

What would I pack? I've asked myself this a few times when watching the news and seeing all the people evacuating New Orleans..... again. So, after a quick inventory, these are the treasured things I quickly decided I would pack if I had to leave in an hour or less:

• The Black Box (which holds all our family’s important paperwork)
• Our family scrapbooks
• My Bible
• The laptop and CDs of archived family photos
• My jewelry box (with the pearl necklace my mom gave me on my wedding day!)
• My boys favorite teddies and blankets
• Medicines
• Diapers and blankets for my daughter
• The camera
• My favorite lamp (yes it sounds crazy, but it was a wedding gift)
• My cell phone and charger
