Just to share a "funny" from my day.....
Today I was reading to the boys from the book of Luke in the New Testament (we've been building up to the Resurrection for Easter) and I was sharing about the story of the 10 men who were healed of leprosy.... in chapter 17. Only one of those men returned to thank Jesus, and so we talked some about how important it is to be thankful for our blessings, like our health, and our home, our family, etc....
And then, after this discussion, Zach turns to me and he has this very confused look on his face. He says, "Mom, that doesnt make sense, how did a leper thank him... they cant talk!" So I pause.... then ask him, Zach do you mean... "LEOPARD?" and he says, "Yeah, if God healed a leopard from a skin disease, how can they talk to thank him?"
I laughed, and laughed and laughed. We all laughed..eventhough the boys didnt know what they were laughing at! Then I explained the difference between a leper and a leopard. We all got a good chuckle out of that one. Zach then says, " Oh, that makes much more sense now.. I always thought God just loved those animals!"
He does! HA!!!
