Academic Fair

Today, the boys displayed their projects at our Co-Op Fair. All the projects were pretty impressive, including glow in the dark water, bird studies, and lego stop animation! But for us, it was a great exercise in explaining their work in a clear, and concise way. (well, that was the goal, anyway!)

Here is Tyler with his choice for display: His lapbook on the Middle Ages, along with some detailed stuff about samurai and ninjas. And, of course, his lego model of Japan!

Zach wanted to display all the superheros he has created. I didnt realize, actually, how detailed an involved the whole story line is to this! He draws alot of these in his free time, so it was great to get to display them for school.

Each hero has a "ranking" which shows his level of smarts, speed, agility, strength, that sort of thing. One board was for good guys, the other for villains!
