This week we were invited to a friends house to share in a wonderful tradition they have of having kids perform a nativity. I think it will have to become a new tradition for us as well! The kids really enjoyed it, and i think it was a great way to keep reminding them of the reason we celebrate. We sang carols and the kids tried to remember their "lines" while my friend narrated. It was super cute.
Zach was King Herod, Tyler one of the Magi. Some other boys played angels (with swords of course) and Cori's little friend played Joseph.
Here is Mary with her baby Jesus- she got pretty shy during the performance, and wouldn't leave my side so I sat in the manger with her an Joseph. It was cute. A really fun evening, and we are so thankful for our friends who hosted this!
